Our orange heavy duty hanging windsocks are made of a high quality, long-lasting 300D PU polyester fabric that is tested in real-word and lab conditions. Our hi-vis Fluorescent orange hanging windsocks are made of 300D PU (polyurethane coated) polyester that is waterproof, hi-vis fluorescent and has superior tensile and colorfastness properties to other windsocks on the market.
Quality Construction- You can be assured that our orange airport windsocks are made with quality materials and are built to last: The body of the windsock is made of 300D PU polyester, the inlet mouth contains a sewn-in PVC ring to ensure the windsocks stay open all times. The hanging windsocks comes complete with a stainless steel bridle harness and stainless steel carabiner
High Strength Materials: Independent tests on our 300D PU polyester resulted in 1218 Warp (N) and 1221 Weft (N) tensile strength. What does that mean? It means your windsocks are made of a high-strength fabric that is tested to meet the demands of daily use in extreme conditions
Light and Responsive Airport Windsocks- Lightweight windsocks are imperative to detect slight wind speed and directional changes. Our windsocks are strong and durable and still fly well in even the slightest breeze.
Step 1) Thread the windsock frame onto the pole adapter
Step 2) Mount the adapter onto a 2 3/8" OD pole (a very common pole size that is commonly used for chain link fencing and other applications. The pole can also be called 2" Sch. 40, which then has a 2 3/8" OD)
Step 3) Mark the hole location on either side of the pole and then remove the adapter. Drill through the pole with an appropriate bit. Tip: we find it's easier to mark the holes on both sides of the pole and drill through each side of the pole independently
Step 4) Put the adapter and frame back onto the pole and slide the bolt through the assembly and tie the nut
Step 1) Thread the windsock frame onto the coupler
Step 2) Thread the other side of the coupler onto the pole

At the Custom Windsock Company, we want you to be satisfied when you receive your products. All custom products are tailor made to your specifications but because all the finishing and sewing is either done by hand or by a person with a sewing machine, sometimes there is potential for human error, however minimal. Under normal circumstances, our quality control department would pick up on it but sometimes things slip through and the order is dispatched. You might be wondering, what do I do incase of a manufacturing defect?
If our products are faulty in any way, you can return them within 14 days of receipt. You can contact our customer service department by calling 1-833-786-1035 or emailing info@custom-windsocks.com. Let us know your name, order number and concern and we will respond quickly to resolve your issues. We ask you provide a digital image of the fault in your product as well as a clear description of the problem.
In most cases, we will be able to resolve your issue via email. If the fault cannot be verified, you may need to return your product to us for inspection.
With regards to Stock products (non printed) and Hardware
All returns must be approved prior to attempting a return. Please email us at info@custom-windsocks.com and state the reason for return to obtain approval for a return. If a return is received that did not obtain prior approval will not be refunded.
