Heavy-Duty Windsock Installation

Installing a windsock frame depends on the hardware you purchase from the Custom Windsock Co, or others. 

Step 1) Thread the windsock frame onto the pole adapter

Step 2) Mount the adapter onto a 2 3/8" OD pole (a very common pole size that is commonly used for chain link fencing and other applications. The pole can also be called 2" Sch. 40, which then has a 2 3/8" OD)

Step 3) Mark the hole location on either side of the pole and then remove the adapter. Drill through the pole with an appropriate bit. Tip: we find it's easier to mark the holes on both sides of the pole and drill through each side of the pole independently 

Step 4) Put the adapter and frame back onto the pole and slide the bolt through the assembly and tie the nut

Step 1) Thread the windsock frame onto the coupler

Step 2) Thread the other side of the coupler onto the pole
