PRODUCT DESCRIPTION FOR THE STATE OF ALABAMA FLAG
The flag of Alabama is similar to the Confederate Battle Flag used during the Civil War. The current flag was adopted in 1895 and is a crimson cross on a white field. This flag bears almost an identical likeness to the state governor's flag except for carrying the state seal in the top triangle and the state crest, a ball of cotton, in the lower triangle.
The flag of Alabama also has its on salute, very similar to the Pledge of Allegiance. "Flag of Alabama I salute thee. To thee I pledge my allegiance, my service, and my life.”
This flag is made of knitted polyester that is specially milled flag fabric to allow for durability in all weather conditions. The material is UV protected. Flags are made with strong canvas header and all-weather brass grommets.
