    PRODUCT DESCRIPTION FOR THE STATE OF ILLINOIS FLAG

    In 1915, the daughters of the American Revolution were heavily involved in organizing a competition for the design of the state flag. Some of their members designed the winning flag bearing the state seal. The seal consists of an eagle standing on a rock with a red ribbon bearing the state motto in its beak. a shield bearing the stars and stripes leans on the rock and a laurel wreath. 

    Our state flags are made from 100% high quality lightweight knitted polyester, specially made for flags, is UV resistant and does well in all weather conditions.
