PRODUCT DESCRIPTION FOR THE STATE OF WEST VIRGINIA FLAG
The West Virginia state flag contains the state seal on a white field with a blue border. Above the seal is a red scroll bearing the words "State of West Virginia." Two figures representing agriculture and mining stand on either side of a boulder on which West Virginia's admission date is inscribed.
The state flower, Rhododendrons, are on the two sides of the shield. The state motto “Montani simper liberi” (“Mountain men are always free”), appears in a red scroll beneath the shield.
