A Year of Betterment - Making it Easier to Buy Windsocks Online

February 1st 2022 marks a full year that the Custom Windsock Company has been running online and what an amazing year it has been! Taking on the world of online sales has been challenging to say the least but it’s also been incredibly rewarding.

For anyone who has tried to purchase industrial products online, it can often be a time consuming and frustrating process. We wanted to come in and shake up the world of online purchasing of industrial safety products by listening to what our customers wanted and making their purchasing experience easy.

We got to learn from our customers how to make our products more durable, vibrant and how to make the site more user friendly. We’ve been challenging ourselves to keep making the Custom Windsock Company the place to go for windsocks in the United States.

Here are the 5 ways we’ve taken to make the Custom Windsock Company one that evolves to meet customer needs.

5 Ways We Are Ever Improving

Informing Our Customers – Every time we get a question about our products, requests for recommendations and solutions for common problems we make sure to not only answer the customer’s specific questions but put the questions and answers into our FAQ or a Blog Post. This way, others can benefit from them.

Experimenting with Textiles – Windsocks can be made from a variety of different kinds of material such as vinyl, nylon, and polyester. We try to review and test new types of materials all the time to ensure quality and durability in all weather conditions. To find out more about how we do this, click here!

Experimenting with dyes and upgrading printing methods – You might be surprised to learn that the majority of custom windsocks made are made on nylon or vinyl using an outdated form of customizing where a decal is ironed onto a solid color windsock. This does not hold up in the long term as the decal peels off or does not wear at the same rate as the textile. We wanted to do it a better way and so we use sublimation printing for all of our socks now. Check out more here!

Upgrading the website’s user experience – How much do you hate it when you are trying to buy something online and the site is slow or it doesn’t take the payment method you want or you simply cannot understand how to check out properly. We have made great efforts to ensure that our customers can have a seamless and easy experience when checking out online. Find your product, drag and drop artwork and checkout with whatever payment method you prefer. Its super easy and super fast because you don’t want to be wasting a ton of time on buying windsocks.

Informed and Responsive Service - Finally, we go the extra mile when it comes to customer service. We are always reachable, often after-hours and we ensure we spend time with you to understand your concerns and recommend the right product for you. Don’t believe it? – call us and find out!

Contact us for a quote or for customer service at 1-833-786-1035 or info@custom-windsocks.com to speak to our customer service representative and rest assured that we will be able to help you.
